"Do not let anyone look down on you because you are young, but be an example for other believers in your speech, behavior, love, faithfulness, and purity." - 1 Timothy 4:12
At First Baptist we believe our students have the ability to change the world around them, by being the light that shines in the darkness of their generation. We try to equip them with the tools to be salty and bright, through:
- Sunday School: Sunday mornings 9:45-10:45 a.m.
- We eat some donuts and have lessons designed to take youth through the bulk of the Bible in the course of their junior high and high school years.

- Wednesday Night Youth: Wednesday evening.
- Dinner in the Fellowship Hall at 6:00 p.m.
- Youth Group at the Activity Center 6:30-7:45 p.m
- Before we group together for our study, we play pool, ping-pong, basketball or dodgeball on our indoor half-court gym, or any other number of activities!
- After working out some of that energy we gather together to worship God through singing contemporary songs together.
- Finally we have an interactive lesson and discussion on a bible story or topic.
- Summer Camp/Missions
- Each summer we go to a youth camp and/or mission experience to help us grow in our relationship with Christ and serve those in need.
- This summer we are going to a Missions Camp with an organization called Bounce to help with disaster relief in Houston, TX to help restore homes damaged by hurricane Harvey.
- Community Disciple NOW
- Once a year we gather with many churches in and around Muleshoe to throw a weekend retreat.
- We bring in a great band, have games, hear from different speakers, and have a blast!
- This past year we had 61 students attend!
